Memory Loss/ Dementia Course

• This course, developed with Articulate Storyline,  goes through a scenario as we follow Mary and her husband in her initial stages of early memory loss.

• This example shows my skills in development and storytelling. I enjoy taking topics that may be clinical and adding a personal and human-centered approach. 

• This allows learners to connect with the material and also adds to a more enjoyable and memorable learning experience. In return, this will enhance comprehension of material and concepts.

Motivational Interviewing

• This course, developed with Articulate Storyline, focuses on motivational interviewing to foster healthy conversations about receiving vaccines.

• It includes a scenario where learners are challenged to facilitate an effective conversation between a pharmacist and a patient, ensuring opportunities for immunization aren’t missed.

• As an instructional designer, I focus on the question: "What is the desired behavior this activity should support?" rather than just the correct response.

• With my experience in developing complex scenarios, I craft answer choices that are all good responses, but one is the best option—it's not immediately obvious, but it’s the most effective. 

• It’s important to avoid leading learners down irrelevant or inappropriate paths for the topic at hand.

• It emphasizes the importance of project management in delivering a smooth, high-quality product.

• It showcases a creative approach to displaying content, incorporating various animations.

• The use of interactive dials enhances engagement and helps learners better understand the different food types.
